駒込妙義神社／Komagome Myogi Shrine

駒込の高台に鎮座する、豊島区内最古級と伝わる神社です。日本武尊ゆかりの「白鳥社」伝承と、太田道灌が戦勝祈願を行ったという歴史が重なり、「勝負の神様」「戦勝の宮」としての個性がはっきりしています。近年は猫を意識した授与品や境内意匠でも知られ、古い伝承と今の親しみやすさが同居する一社です。
