本牧神社／Honmoku Shrine

本牧の総鎮守として信仰を集める神社で、旧称は「本牧十二天」です。かつては本牧岬の出島に鎮座し、海に面した景勝地の鎮守として崇敬されました。現在も「お馬流し」で知られ、海辺の町・本牧らしい厄払いと航海安全の信仰が色濃く残るのが大きな特徴です。
