戸越の住宅街に鎮座する、旧戸越村の鎮守。大永6年（1526）、藪清水の水源地から御神体が出現し、行永法師が祀ったのが始まりと伝わります。御祭神は誉田別命で、厄除開運・文教・殖産の守護神として信仰され、境内には狛犬、奉納絵馬、力石、御神木のケンポナシなど、品川区の歴史を感じる見どころも残ります。
